Since 1975, the East winner is given the Lou Hayman Trophy
Since 1974, the West winner is given the Dr. Beattie Martin Trophy. Prior to 1974, the Dr. Beattie Martin Trophy was given to the outstanding Canadian rookie in the West.
* In 1995, the CFL was split into North and South divisions. The South teams were all U.S. based with no Canadian players, so the two finalists were both from the North division.
