Tom Forzani

Tom Forzani was a steady dependable receiver for the Calgary Stampeders for 11 seasons from 1973 to 1983.  Forzani was one of those rare players who became a regulr in his rookie season and had an immediate impact with 62 catches for 731 yards.  In his 11 seasons, there was only one year when he fell below 40 receptions, and that was due to an injury in 1982 when he had 36 catches in 12 games. To say Forzani was dependable is actually a bit of an understatement as he didn't miss a single game in 10 of his 11 seasons.  Forzani was a West All-Star in both 1973 and 1974, and also winning All-Canadian honours in 1977.
