O.J. Brigance attended Rice and started for them for three seasons. Brigance came north to the B.C. Lions in 1991, and played three seasons on the coast, winning West All-Stars in both 1991 and 1993 Brigance joined the Baltimore expansion team in 1994 where he played two seasons. Brigance went to the Grey Cup twice with Baltimore, losing in 1994 and winning in 1995 on the only American team to Win the Grey Cup. Besides getting a Grey Cup ring in 1995, Brigance also was named a South and a CFL All-sar. Following his Grey Cup victgory, Brigance signed as a free agent with the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. Brigance played four seasons (1996-99) for the Dolphins, serving as their team captain. Brigance played another four seasons in the NFL with Baltimore, St. Louis and New England. Brigance won a Super Bowl title with Baltimore in 2000, making him one of the few people to win both a Grey Cup and a Super Bowl.
