Norm Kimble served as the General Manager of the Edmonton Eskimos for 12 seasons from 1965 to 1976. Kimble saw the turn around of the Eskimos from their 1960s doldrums with three straight Grey Cup Appearances from 1973 to 1975. After losses to Ottawa in 1973 and Montreal in 1974, the Eskimos won the Grey Cup with a win over Montreal in 1975. When the Montreal Alouettes franchise was in trouble in the the mid 1980s, the CFL brought in Kimble as the t eam's owner and president.
