All-Stars 1954

The Various All-Star Teams in 1954 were as follows:

IRFU / Big Four (Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tige-Cats, Ottawa Rough Riders and Montreal Alouettes)
ORFU (Toronto Balmy Beach, Sarnia Imperials, Kitchener-Wateroo Dutchmen)
All-East composed of IRFU, ORFU and University Teams. First and second teams were selected.
West / WIFU .(Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and BC)
Ted Reeves - taken from all teams in Canada. There were no official All-Canadians until 1962.

The Big Four / IRFU and the WIFU / West picked both offensive and defensive squads, the ORFU and Reeves picked only a single 12 player squad. Reeves tended to just pick the top linemen regardless of positions so four of his picks were the tackles from the East and West teams and he did not select any guards.
