MONTREAL 31, Hamilton 21 (20202) - Anthony Calvillo threw for 342 yards and two TDs to lead the Als in the CFL opener. The Alouettes used an 11-point second quarter to go ahead and a 17-point third quarter to pull away.

EDMONTON 41, Ottawa 16 (36912) - Ricky Ray threw for 354 yards and two TDs while also rushing for a pair as Edmonton gave their new head coach Danny Maciocia a victory in his CFL regular-season debut.
SATURDAY JUNE 25
British Col 27, TORONTO 20 (30712) - The Lions got a one-yard TD run from Antonio Warren with 1:12 remaining to edge the Argonauts in a re-match of last season's Grey Cup. The Toronto defense collected six sacks.
SASKATCHEWAN 42, Winnipeg 15 (23067) - Nealon Greene threw two TD passes and ran for another score to lead the Riders to an easy win and snapped a five-game losing streak against Winnipeg.

OTTAWA 39, Montreal 36 (OT) (18899) - Matt Kellett's 13-yard FG in double- overtime lifted Ottawa to an improbable win. Kellett, who was traded by Montreal to Ottawa, booted four FGs as Ottawa rallied from a 33-10 deficit.
Toronto 22, CALGARY 16 (34102) - Damon Allen threw three TD passes, including a pair to Tony Miles, and Toronto held on, as Robert Baker also caught a TD for the Argos to earn their first win since winning the Grey Cup.

Saskatchewan 23, HAMILTON 21 (29032) - Neal Hughes' two-yard TD run highlighted a 13-point third quarter and the Roughriders held on, as K Paul McCallum accounted for nine total points on two FGs and three singles.

MONTREAL 32, Edmonton 29 (20202) - Damon Duval's 48-yard FG as time expired lifted Montreal, as Ezra Landry finished with 317 return yards and two TDs, including a 125-yard missed field goal return in the second quarter.
BRIT COLUMBIA 37, Ottawa 29 (27506) - Aaron Lockett returned a punt 75 yards for a TD in the third quarter to help lift the Lions. Ottawa's Anthony Collier had five sacks to tie a CFL record.

TORONTO 27, Saskatchewan 26 (26218) - Toronto QB Damon Allen threw two TD passes in the fourth to lead the Argonauts to a come-from-behind win. Allen's second and third touchdown passes of the game came in the final 2:45 of the fourth quarter.

BRIT COLUMBIA 30, Toronto 22 (29217) - Dave Dickenson threw three TD passes to lead the Lions, as he connected on 26-of-34 passes for 362 yards. Duncan O'Mahony also kicked two FGs for the unbeaten Lions.

OTTAWA 33, Calgary 18 (16303) - Kerry Joseph threw for 332 yards and a pair of TDs as Ottawa cruised. Josh Ranek rushed for 160 yards on 19 carries for the Renegades. Yo Murphy hauled in both of Joseph's TD tosses.

SASKATCHEWAN 32, Hamilton 13 (23421) - Nealon Greene rushed for two TDs as Saskatchewan cruised past Hamilton. Danny McManus went 23-for-48 and 262 yards for Hamilton, which dropped its third straight contest.

BRIT COLUMBIA 40, Calgary 27 (28714) - Dave Dickenson completed 34-of-45 passes for 462 yards and three TDs to lead undefeated British Columbia. Antonio Warren finished with 14 carries for 104 yards in the win.

BRIT COLUMBIA 39, Hamilton 15 (33119) - Dave Dickenson threw for a pair of TD and ran for one before leaving the game with a shoulder injury, as British Columbia routed Hamilton to stay perfect.

EDMONTON 36, Montreal 26 (44624) - Edmonton QB Ricky Ray threw for 438 yards and two TDs, while Jason Tucker caught nine passes for 217 yards and a touchdown -- the eighth-best receiving game in CFL history.

MONTREAL 46, British Col 44 (20202) - Anthony Calvillo hit Dave Stala with a 20-yard TD on the final play to lift Montreal. Calvillo threw for 435 yards and four TDs and moved into fourth place on the all- time passing yards list.
Toronto 35, WINNIPEG 32 (22323) - Noel Prefontaine's fourth FG of the game, a 20-yarder as time expired, gave Toronto the win, as Damon Allen threw for 484 yards and a pair of TDs and ran for another score.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 21
HAMILTON 40, Ottawa 32 (26912) - Kevin Eakin threw for 405 yards and three TDs to lead Hamilton, as he completed 17-of-29 passes, including an 80-yarder to David Flick late in fourth that gave the Ti-Cats a 16-point lead.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 22
Toronto 49, MONTREAL 23 (51269) - Damon Allen threw for 414 yards and four TDs as the Argos took over first place in the East. Anthony Calvillo threw for three TDs for Montreal, which had a four-game win streak snapped.
BRITISH COL 41, Winnipeg 1 (29780) - Casey Printers threw for four TDs, as the Lions snapped a four-game skid, head coach Wally Buono's longest losing streak of his career, and are on the verge of clinching the West.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 23
Calgary 29, SASKATCHEWAN 21 (28800) - Henry Burris threw for 292 yards and K Sandro DeAngelis accounted for 20 points as Calgary scored 26 unanswered points to clinch a playoff berth.

TORONTO 34, Hamilton 11 (40085) - Damon Allen had two TDs throwing the ball and added another on the ground, as the Argonauts clinched first place in the East Division. Hamilton finished 0-9 on the road this season.
FRIDAY OCTOBER 28
EDMONTON 22, Brit Columbia 19 (37544) - Sean Fleming connected on all five of his FG attempts, including a 36-yarder on the game's final play, to keep Edmonton alive for the Western Division title going into the final week.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 29
Montreal 43, OTTAWA 23 (20833) - Als QB Anthony Calvillo threw for 315 yards on 28-of-37 passing with four TDs, while Terry Vaughn caught two TD and went over the 1,000 yard mark for the 11th time in his 12-year career.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 30
Calgary 46, WINNIPEG 24 (23455) - Henry Burris completed 21-of-25 passes for 343 yards and three TDs, and ran for a score, and Brian Clark and Coby Rhinehart combined for a 51-yard interception return for a TD for Calgary.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4
HAMILTON 15, Montreal 9 (27114) - Jamie Boreham kicked two FGs as the Tiger-Cats finished 5-4 at home, and QB Danny McManus, a 40-year-old veteran, came in for Kevin Eakin and threw for 171 yards, a TD and an interception.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5
OTTAWA 27, Toronto 17 (16504) - Kerry Joseph ran for 64 yards and a TD as Ottawa finished 5-4 at home, while Josh Ranek ran for 150 yards. Ottawa coach Joe Paopao and his coaching staff were fired before the game.
Saskatchewan 13, BRIT COL 12 (38847) - Nealon Greene found Jason French on a 13-yard TD strike with 1:39 remaining as the Riders snapped a three-game skid, while the Lions finished by losing six of their last seven.
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 6
CALGARY 43, Edmonton 23 (31017) - Henry Burris threw for 311 yards and three TDs as Calgary clinched second place in the West. Edmonton lost on a tiebreaker for the third seed because they lost the season series to Calgary.

Nov 13 - MONTREAL (10-8) 30, Saskatchewan (9-9) 14 (31199) - Anthony Calvillo threw for 314 yards with three TDs, leading the Alouettes, while Ben Cahoon caught seven passes for 104 yards and a TD, as Montreal built a 24-0 halftime lead. West Division teams fell to 0-4 when crossing over.
Nov 13 - Edmonton (11-7) 33, CALGARY (11-7) 26 (26799) - QB Jason Maas relieved Ricky Ray and rallied the Eskimos, as Jason Tucker caught the game-winning TD with just over four minutes to go and Sean Fleming was 6-for-6 in FG attempts. Calgary was held to just three points in the second half.

DIVISION FINALS
Nov 20 - Montreal (11-8) 33, TORONTO (11-7) 17 (44211) - Eric Lapointe ran for three TDs in the second half, as the Alouettes rallied to reach the Grey Cup for the third time in the past four years. Lapointe took over the rushing chores after Robert Edwards suffered a pair of broken ribs in the second quarter and made the most of the opportunity with 112 yards on 15 carries.
Nov 20 - Edmonton (12-7) 28, BRITISH COLUMBIA (12-6) 23 (37337) - Jason Maas found Trevor Gaylor with a 15- yard TD pass with 5:26 to go to lift the  Eskimos to next week's Grey Cup. Sean Fleming kicked two field goals in the win. Dave Dickenson  threw a 90-yard TD pass to Geroy Simon for the Lions, who began the season 11-0 but lost seven of their last eight games.


2005 Grey Cup (November 27 at Vancouver - 59157)
EDMONTON ESKIMOS (13-7) 38, MONTREAL ALOUETTES (12-8) 35 (OT) - Sean Fleming kicked a 36-yard FG in overtime to lead Edmonton to the title.  Ricky Ray, the Grey Cup MVP, finished 34-of-44 for 367 yards and two TDs for the Eskimos. Ray snuck into the end zone to give the Eskimos a 26-25 advantage with 1:03 to go. Ray then hit Jason Tucker for a two-point conversion. Anthony Calvillo drove Montreal into FG range, where Damon Duval drilled a 28-yard FG as time expired to send the game into overtime. Eskimos head coach Dave Maciocia became the seventh coach in Grey Cup history to win the title in his first season. Tony Thompkins raced for a Grey Cup record 96-yard kickoff return to give Edmonton a 20-18 lead.
