Calgary 44, SASKATCHEWAN 26 (20416) - Calgary QB Doug Flutie, signed
away in the off-season from the Lions, threw four TD passes. Rider QB Kent
Austin threw three touchdown passes, but gave up four interceptions.
THURSDAY JULY 9
OTTAWA 53, Toronto 42 (OT) (23222) - Reggie Barnes and David Conrad
scored on OT TD rushes to end a five-year Ottawa drought against Toronto. Argo QB Rickey Foggie hit 11 of 34 passes with five interceptions.
Edmonton 37, BRITISH COL 26 (23917) - Tracy Ham threw two TD passes and ran for a third. Ham passed for more than 300 yards including scoring passes of 76 yards to Gizmo Williams and 11 yards to Jim Sandusky.
Winnipeg 36, HAMILTON 33 (OT) (20641) - The Bombers scorched the
Tiger-Cats for 10 points in the final 18 seconds of regulation time, then K Troy Westwood nailed a 39-yard field goal with 27 seconds left in OT.

EDMONTON 34, Saskatchewan 31 (OT) (26764) - Rookie Edmonton K Sean Fleming booted a 40- yard field goal with eight seconds left in the second half of overtime to lead the Eskimos to a thrilling win.
THURSDAY JULY 16
OTTAWA 29, Winnipeg 14 (23594) - Former Bombers QB Tom Burgess hit 19 of 34 passes for 274 yards to help Ottawa to its second straight, while Bomber QB Matt Dunigan was a ghastly nine of 30 for 113 yards.
TORONTO 61, British Col 20 (36682) - The Argos, who led 26-13 at halftime,
put the game far out of reach with a 21-point third. The first four times Toronto got the ball in the second half resulted in four touchdowns.
CALGARY 34, Hamilton 22 (25144) - Stamps QB Doug Flutie passed for 372 yards, but only one TD, as Calgary won their second straight.  The key was the 217 yards rushing the Stampeders racked up.

WINNIPEG 51, Edmonton 32 (24265) - Taking over for QB Matt Dunigan with 4:18 left in the third quarter, Sam Garza pushed the Bombers to a 17-point outburst that carried them to the win.
THURSDAY JULY 23
Calgary 37, BRITISH COL 19 (31053) - Stamps QB Doug Flutie ran for three TDs to spark the unbeaten Stampeders. He completed five passes to SB Dave Sapunjis for 175 yards and five more to WR Carl Bland for 130 yards.
Hamilton 39, TORONTO 30 (30899) - Hamilton's Terry Wright intercepted a Rickie Foggie pass and scampered 28 yards for a TD late in the game. Wright's TD sparked a wild finish with three TDs in the last 2 1/2 minutes.
FRIDAY JULY 24
SASKATCHEWAN 23, Ottawa 13 (20117) - Ottawa, sporting shiny new silver jerseys for their away uniforms, looked lacklustre against their western rivals. Ottawa managed only one TD and two FGs in the game.

THURSDAY JULY 30
HAMILTON 38, Saskatchewan 24 (21023) - Damon Allen passed for three TDs to Earl Winfield to lead the Ti-Cats. It marked the first time in 10 years that the Ti-Cats have drawn over 20,000 in consecutive home games.
Edmonton 30, OTTAWA 25 (25625) - SB Chris Armstrong caught a pair of
TD passes and the Eskimos held off a late Ottawa charge. Eskimo CB
Eddie Thomas picked off a Tom Burgess pass in the end zone late.
CALGARY 28, Toronto 26 (31504) - Mark McLoughlin kicked a FG with six seconds left to keep the Stamps perfect despite five turnovers, including three interceptions by QB Doug Flutie.
WINNIPEG 41, British Col 15 (23293) - The Bombers so outclassed the Lions that Winnipeg held a 10-point lead at halftime, 17-7, while B.C. had a 10-minute bulge in time of possession.

TORONTO 32, Winnipeg 6 (32201) - Winnipeg QB Matt Dunigan tossed four interceptions, two to CB Ed Berry. DB Don Wilson returned one 94 yards for a TD. The interceptions comprised the bulk of Winnipeg's six turnovers.
EDMONTON 29, Ottawa 14 (25113) - Eskimos FB Blake Marshall and WR Jim Sandusky had outstanding nights, as Marshall scored two TDs and Sandusky added one in a game marred by fumbles, penalties and sacks.
Hamilton 27, BRITISH COL 25 (24606) - QB Damon Allen threw for two TDs and scored on a 9-yard run late in the fourth quarter to move the Ti-Cats into a tie for first and keep the Lions winless.
FRIDAY AUGUST 7
SASKATCHEWAN 30, Calgary 21 (21100) - Facing their first loss, the Stamps and QB Doug Flutie mounted a drive in the dying minutes, but an interception by LB Tyrone Jones on Saskatchewan's one ended their hopes.

Edmonton 30, HAMILTON 28 (21327) - After a Paul Williams 64-yard TD catch tied the score in the final minute, the Ticats blocked the convert, but holder Glenn Harper picked up the loose ball and scored a two-point convert.
THURSDAY AUGUST 13
OTTAWA 32, Calgary 11 (24752) - Anthony Drawhorn picked off Calgary QB Doug Flutie three of the four times he was intercepted. The Riders led 17-1 at half time and held the Stampeders to one point until the fourth quarter.
WINNIPEG 32, Toronto 17 (27714) - Paul Randolph's hard tackle in sacking Rickey Foggie knocked the Argos QB out of action in the third, as the Argos committed eight turnovers, including two interceptions given up by Foggie.
Saskatchewan 46, BRIT COL 43 (OT) (25653) - Dave Ridgway's 20-yard FG
with seven seconds left in the second OT gave the Riders the win. Ridgway forced overtime with a 43-yard FG on the final play of regulation.

HAMILTON 21, Winnipeg 20 (20932) - The Bombers took the lead on a Troy Westwood FG with 1:48 to go. But Damon Allen moved the Ticats down field
and put Paul Osbaldiston in position to kick the winning FG with no time left.
THURSDAY AUGUST 20
OTTAWA 20, Saskatchewan 9 (24020) - Ottawa intercepted Saskatchewan QB Kent Austin five times and held the western Riders scoreless through the first half. Ottawa's Less Browne set a record for career interceptions with 67.
EDMONTON 39, Toronto 16 (30186) - Tom Muecke led Edmonton after replacing an ailing Tracy Ham who sat out with a sore knee. Muecke completed 19 of 27 passes for 268 yards in three quarters.
FRIDAY AUGUST 21
CALGARY 44, Brit Col 23 (21508) - The Stampeders snapped a two-game losing streak. Calgary had three times more offence than B.C. in the first half, 382 to 116 yards. Doug Flutie had 324 yards passing.

TORONTO 24, Ottawa 16 (44992) - Mike Kerrigan came off the bench and tossed a last-minute TD pass that lifted the Argos. Darrell K. Smith caught the 43-yard TD score that got the Argos back in the thick of the Eastern race.
THURSDAY AUGUST 27
Hamilton 37, WINNIPEG 35 (OT) (26215) - Paul Osbaldiston kicked a 20-yard FG with one second left in OT to lift the Tiger-Cats. The Bombers were ahead 15-0 before the game was five minutes old, but could not hold the lead.
Calgary 45, EDMONTON 38 (OT) (31812) - In the driving rain, Calgary's Pee Wee Smith grabbed a four-yard TD pass at 4:55 of the first OT period to give the Stamps a share of first place overall in the CFL.
SATURDAY AUGUST 29
SASKATCHEWAN 47, Brit Col 36 - The troubled Lions were still without an owner and paychecks. The Riders overpowered them with a 29-point lead in the first half, six interceptions and three sacks.

SASKATCHEWAN 32, Winnipeg 20 (29298) - Saskatchewan pulled ahead in the 2nd quarter when S Glen Suitor fell on a fumble deep in Bombers territory, and Kent Austin found Jeff Fairholm for a 19-yard TD.
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 7
Edmonton 34, CALGARY 21 (38205) - Tracy Ham broke the hearts of a record McMahon Stadium crowd by running for two TDs and throwing two others as the Eskimos beat the Stampeders in their annual CFL Labor Day clash.
HAMILTON 27, Toronto 24 (30003) - In a dismal Labor Day game, there were seven fumbles and five passes were intercepted. The home side generated six first downs; the Argos made 19. Only 30 of 73 aerials were completed.

Brit Col 34, EDMONTON 20 - The Lions, winless in their first eight games, won their second straight. Danny Barrett picked apart the Edmonton defence during drive that resulted in TD runs of 10 yards and one yard by Jon Volpe.
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13
Calgary 31, TORONTO 0 (29044) - Doug Flutie threw a 25-yard TD pass to Allen Pitts and ran 17 yards for a TD. Calgary defender Kenton Leonard scored from 36 yards after he intercepted the first pass by Blair Kiel.
WINNIPEG 37, Saskatchewan 16 (26242) - Bomber backup QB Sammy Garza came off the bench and threw TD passes in the fourth of 12 yards to Larry Thompson and 17 yards to Warren Hudson, who also ran for a TD.
OTTAWA 44, Hamilton 31 (24364) - Anthony Drawhorn intercepted a Damon Allen pass and flashed 33 yards for a TD, starting the afternoon off on the right note for Ottawa. Before the first quarter ended, the Riders led 22-0.

Ottawa 54, HAMILTON 25 (17680) - Reggie Taylor caught two TD passes and scored on an 81-yard PR to help Ottawa to end an eight-game road skid. Jock Climie added two TDs for the Riders, who led 40-7 at the half.
BRITISH COL 36, Toronto 29 (34646) - The Argos pulled to within three of the Lions with 10 minutes remaining, when a questionable reverse to Rocket Ismail resulted in a safety when he was tackled in the end zone.
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20
CALGARY 57, Winnipeg 29 (22320) - After completing just 4 of 21 passes in the 1st half, Doug Flutie hit 10 of 15 for 221 yards and two TDs in the 2nd. Calgary scored 46 points in the 2nd half. The 57 points are a team record.
SASKATCHEWAN 22, Edmonton 18 (22256) - The Roughriders kicked their offence into overdrive in the second half, as QB Kent Austin threw two TD passes and dove into the end zone himself for another.

Hamilton 26, EDMONTON 25 - Paul Osbaldiston kicked a 36-yard FG with four seconds left to give the Tiger-Cats the win. The Eskimos led the game 25-9 early in the fourth, but QB Damon Allen brought the Ticats back.

TORONTO 39, Saskatchewan 32 (26132) - The offence, whose lacklustre play had gotten Adam Rita fired earlier this week and put the reins in Dennis Meyer's hands, scored four TDs to pace the Argos.
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27
WINNIPEG 17, Calgary 16 (24694) - While the Bombers defence was knocking Doug Flutie around, RB Michael Richardson was picking holes in the Calgary defence. Richardson broke free for 193 yards on 27 carries.
OTTAWA 27, British Col 23 (24938) - The Riders grabbed three interceptions and held the Lions to 176 yards in total of fence. Ottawa's offence was even weaker than the Lions, 124 total yards.

EDMONTON 45, Winnipeg 25 - The Eskimos set a team record for most penalty yards, 212, in a game. Tom Muecke, eased out by the Bombers in 1989, came off the Edmonton bench to throw for 348 yards in relief.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 3
HAMILTON 34, British Columbia 20 (13628) - The Lions found the Tiger-Cats defence to be quite offensive last night. All four turnovers came when Hamilton defenders stripped the ball free from Lions ball carriers.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 4
SASKATCHEWAN 43, Toronto 18 (22991) - Riders QB Kent Austin led his team into overdrive in the second half, throwing two touchdown passes and
scoring two more himself to break open what had been a close contest.
CALGARY 47, Ottawa 11 (20207) - Doug Flutie threw four TD passes and set a new team passing record, while the victory gave Calgary at least one win over every other team in the CFL this season and a playoff berth.

Calgary 40, BRITISH COL 21 (26618) - The Stampeders beat the Lions to move four points up on the West, while the Lions suffered their 11th loss and fell to the edge of playoff elimination.
TORONTO 31, Edmonton 14 (33189) - The Argos' first series ended when Eddie Brown took a short pass from Rickey Foggie and turned it into a 71-yard TD. On the final play of the 1st half, Foggie hit Brown with a perfect TD.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 11
Hamilton 44, SASKATCHEWAN 6 (20025) - The Ti-Cats trounced the Riders, running up a 24-point lead in the 1st half. The defence scored first,  when LB Terry Wright picked up a Kent Austin fumble and ran 35 yards for a TD.
MONDAY OCTOBER 12
Winnipeg 49, OTTAWA 47 ( ) - After 1,000 yards of offense, 79 passes, 50 first downs, 13 TDs, 10 fumbles, five interceptions and two successful fake
punts, the Bombers won the fourth-highest scoring CFL game.

TORONTO 10, Ottawa 4 (26637) - LB Jeff Braswell had six tackles, two sacks, recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass in the Argos' win which put them right back in the playoff race.
WINNIPEG 24, Hamilton 15 (25543) - The Bombers gnawed away at the
Ticats, spotting their visitors a 14-1, first-half lead before working their way back with a Michael Richardson TD and three Troy Westwood field goals.
CALGARY 34, Saskatchewan 30 (24451) - Doug Flutie and Riders QB Kent Austin both surpassed the 5,000-yard passing mark for the season. Austin threw for 334 yards and two TDs, while Flutie had 296 yards and three TDs.

Ottawa 31, HAMILTON 9 (16742) - The Riders defence picked off four passes, recovered two fumbles and sacked Hamilton quarterbacks a team-record 10 times, while holding the Ticats to 164 total yards.
WINNIPEG 24, Toronto 23 (OT) (30193) - Michael Richardson's dramatic
four-yard run with no time remaining in overtime, and Troy Westwood's convert, gave Winnipeg an incredible victory over the downtrodden Argos.
SASKATCHEWAN 41, Brit Col 22 (19788) - Saskatchewan didn't get on the scoreboard until early in the second, when QB Kent Austin scored from three yards out. After Austin's touchdown, the Riders rolled.

Winnipeg 29, BRITISH COL 26 (18183) - Bomber QB Danny McManus threw TD passes to Rob Crifo and Larry Thompson before the smallest crowd to witness a game at B.C. Place since the domed stadium was built in 1983.

WINNIPEG 18, Ottawa 6 (27589) - The Blue Bombers won their fifth game in a row to take first place in the CFL Eastern Division. Troy Westwood Westwood ended with 199 points, beating the Bombers season high of 198.

Sun Nov 15 - HAMILTON (11-7) 29, Ottawa (9-9) 28 (21412) - Paul Osbaldiston's 46-yard FG with 11 seconds remaining on a snow-covered turf capped an amazing 16-point, fourth-quarter comeback that lifted the Ti-Cats in a wild East Division semifinal.
Sun Nov 15 - EDMONTON (10-8) 22, Saskatchewan (9-9) 20 (25565) - Riders K Dave Ridgway slipped attempting what would have been the winning FG on the final play of the game. Sean Fleming booted a high 44-yarder with 21 seconds left to give the Eskimos their lead.

Sun Nov 22 - WINNIPEG (11-7) 59, Hamilton (12-7) 11 (27033) - Bombers RB Michael Richardson ran for 227 yards on 30 carries as the Bombers mauled
the Ti-Cats. Richardson's 247 all-purpose yards were 101 better than Hamilton's offensive total. James West had three of Winnipeg's nine sacks.
Sun Nov 22 - CALGARY (13-5) 23, Edmonton (11-8) 22 (28100) - Stamps QB Doug Flutie was the hero of the game with a 3-yard TD dive with 19 seconds
left.  It is the first time since Edmonton beat B.C. in 1986 that the home team
has won the Western final.

1992 Grey Cup (November 29 at Toronto - 45,863)
CALGARY STAMPEDERS (14-5) 24, WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS (12-7) 10 - The Stampeders made back-to-back trips to the Grey Cup, this time with another quarterback at the helm. Doug Flutie added a Grey Cup title to his legacy, as the Stampeders jumped out to a 24-0 lead before the Blue Bombers were able to put points on the scoreboard. Flutie got the Stamps within scoring range on four of Calgary’s first five offensive possessions. Flutie’s 480 passing yards was 28 short of Sam Etcheverry’s all-time record in a Grey Cup game. Flutie was good on 33 of his 49 attempts.
