W-Edmonton 30, WINNIPEG 24 (9600) - Edmonton, which rushed for 306 yards, won in the last three minutes on a TD by HB Ray Enright after a thrilling game in which neither team held more than a six-point lead.
W-SASKATCHEWAN 8, Calgary 1 - A 20-yard FG in the first quarter by K
Don Ettinger and five last-quarter kicks to the endline by QB Glenn Dobbs gave the Riders the win.

W-SASKATCHEWAN 23, Edmonton 0 (6000) - Jack Russell led the Riders with two TDs, both on passes from Glenn Dobbs. Don Ettinger booted a FG
and three converts and Ken Charlton added the third major.
W-WINNIPEG 34, Calgary 24 (9600) - After opening the scoring with an 18-yard TD run, Jack Jacobs tossed TDs to Andy Sokol, Armstrong, Johnny
Stroppa. He also kicked a single.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 29
I-HAMILTON 37, Montreal 6 (14000) - George Ratterman, the Alouettes' $20,000 beauty, was forced to rush most of his 44 passes, of which
one went for a touchdown, four were intercepted and 19 completed.
THURSDAY AUGUST 30
W-Saskatchewan 33, WINNIPEG 1 (9000) - Glenn Dobbs completed 13 of 22 pass attempts for 234 yards compared with Winnipeg's record of 166 yards. Don Ettinger intercepted three Bomber passes.
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 1
W-Edmonton 18, CALGARY 17 (8000) - Howard Hansen, Ray Knight and line-coach George Brown scored Edmonton touchdowns. Coach Annis Stukus went in and kicked two converts.
I-Toronto 36, OTTAWA 17 (15000) - Ulysses Curtis, Ron Smylie, Marvin Whaley, Billy Bass, Don Scott  and Dons Smylie scored TDs for the Argos, with mos Argo touchdowns coming on pass plays.
O-TORONTO 16, Windsor 0 (2000) - Ed Fisher and Andy Gilmour scored touchdowns for Beaches, while Howie French and Bruce Gillan each got a pair of singles.
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 3
I-HAMILTON 27, Toronto 6 (15000) - Joe Shinn got two TDs for Hamilton. Tip Logan and Russ Newman each got one. Bernie Custis tossed two TD passes, to Shinn and Logan. Logan converted all four TDs.
W-EDMONTON 5, Calgary 0 (12000) - Normie Kwong, a Calgary castoff,
scored all of Edmonton's points with an unconverted touchdown in the second quarter as Calgary absorbed its fourth straight defeat this season.
W-Winnipeg 24, SASKATCHEWAN 22 (10000) - Jack Jacobs fired TD passes to Bud Korchak, Ron Vaccher and Andy Sokol in the final eight minutes to hand the Riders their first loss.
O-SARNIA 15, Toronto 5 (4000) - John Duchene and Jack Glendinning
scored TDs for the Imperials, while Johnny Chorestecki converted both and added a single in the opener for Sarnia.
