Zanders signed with Toronto in June of 2001 and released in October after playing three games for the Argos. The Ottawa Renegades signed him in November of 2001, but he did not play any games for them. Ottawa released him in June, 2002 before the season started. Toronto resigned him and he played another four games for Toronto before being released in July of 2002.
