A product of Connecticut, Jordan Younger joined the Toronto Argonauts for the 2004 season and became part of a very good Argo defensive backfield for the middle part of that decade. Younger played four seasons for the Argos, winning East All-Star honours in three of them (2005, 2006 and 2007) and two CFL All-Stars (2005 and 2007). Younger was traded to Edmonton for the 2008 season in exchange for running back Tyler Ebell and receiver T.J. Acree. Younger played one season in Edmonton (2008), before returning to Toronto for the 2009 season. Going into the 2010 season, Younger has a total of 12 interceptions with a career high of 6 coming in 2006. Younger hasa pair of career touchdowns, one on a 72 yard interception return in 2006 and one on a 18 yard fumble recovery in 2009. With the return of Byron Parker to the Argos in 2010, cou0pled with the trend to using smaller and faster players at linebacker, Toronto has moved Younger to an outside linebacker spot.
