Bob Wylupek played for the Windor Rockets of the ORFU (Ontario Rugby Football League) which at that time still competed for the Grey Cup. Wylupek was an end and played from 1945 to 1950*. Wyupek also played mnor professional baseball in the States. He played Class D ball in 1947 and 48 in the St Louis Browns' system. (The Browns are now the Baltimore Orioles) He split 1947 between the Marion Indians of the Illinois State League and the Mayfield (KY) Clothiers of the Kitty League. (KITTY stood for Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee). He appeared in 50 games with Marion, 19 with Mayfield. The following season, he was back in Marion appearing in 119 games. His career batting average was .236 with nine home runs After his playing career Wylupek was over was a successful businessman in the retail appliace field.
