Wright was a fifth round draft pick of Montreal in 2006 out of Wilfrid Laurier. Wright played 22 games over four seasons (2006-09) with the Alouettes as a backup defensive back and special teams player. Wright played for the Alouettes in the 2008 Grey Cup loss to Calgary.
