Wise signed as a free agent with the expansion Sacremento Goldminers in 1993. In his rookie season, he dressed for just two games, but saw more action with Sacremento in 1994 as he recored 20 catches in 11 gmes. Wise moved with the franchise to San Antonio in 1995 and then became a free agent with the folding of the Amercian teams after the 1995 season. Wise signed with Winnipeg for 1996 and had his best season with the Bombers, picking up 32 catches in only 8 games. After being released by the Bombers in the spring of 1997, Wise returned to the CFL with Edmonton in June of 1998. Wise was released by Edmonton in May, 1999.
