Chandler Williams was a wide receiver out of Florida International. Williams was drafted in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL college draft by the Minnesota Vikings. Williams saw action in pre-season NFL games, but did not dress for any regular season games over a four year period. Besides Minnesota, Williams had tryouts with the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs. Williams signed as a free agent with the Toronto Argonauts in June, 2012. After spending some time on the practice roster, Williams dressed for 7 games as a receiver and kick returner for the double blue. Williams was released by the Argonauts in October, 2012. Aftger his release by Toronto, Williams had signed to play for Tampa Bay in the Arena Football League. Chandler Williams passed away suddenly on January 6, 2013 while playing flag football.
