Stan Van Sichem was a fourth round draft pick of the Montreal Alouettes in 2009 out of the University of Regina. Van Sichme played two games for the Alouettes in 2009 as a backup linebakcer. In February, 2010, Van Sichem was traded to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in exchange for import defensive end Gavin Walls.
