Ron Vaccher played junior football with the Rinnipeg Rods before joining the Blue Bombers in 1948. Vacher would go on to play eight seasons in Blue and Gold from 1948 to 1955. Vaccher played in the time of two way playres and he played both offensive and defensive end. Vacher's best season offensively was afine 33 catch season in just 14 games ion 1951.
