Nick Tsadilas played with the Montreal Pats junoir team, winning the provincial junior title with them in 1942. Tsadilas then served in the Canadian Navy during World War II. and returned to play for the Verdun Grads in 1944. Verdun jplayed in the QRFU (Quebec Rugby Football Union) which had not challenged for the Grey Cup for a number of years, but returned to the "senior" level and challenged for the Grey Cup during the war years. In 1945, Tsadilas played for the Montreal Hornets. The Hornets played in the Big Four / IRFU (which became the modern East division of the CFL). The Hornets were the immediate forerunner of the Alouettes who were formed in 1946. Tsadilas worked as part of the radio commentary team for the Alouettes into the 1950s, and then worked in the investment business. Nicholas Tsadilas passed away on January 3, 2013.
