Alex Troop was a sixth round draft pick of the Toronto Argonauts out of Wilfrid Laurier in 1985. Troop never played for the Argos as hewas released just before the 1985 season started..Troop tried out with Cincinatti in 1986, but was cut early in training camp. Troop Joined the Ottawa Rough Riders late in 1986 and played three seasons for them. After football, Troop became the president of very successful home building company in Alliston, Ontario. Troop had two sons playing at Acadia.
