Stock was a sixth round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL in 1989. He played with the Sacremento Surge of the WLAF in 1991 then went back to the NFL with Washington from 1992 to 1994. Stock signed as a free agent with San Antonio in March of 1995. After the U.S. teams folded, he was drafted by Winnipeg in the dispersal draft.
