Sellers had one of the more interesting career changes in CFL history.  He signed with Edmonton at age 20 in 1995, bnut did not play a game for them in that season.  In 1996, Sellers dressed for 17 games, recorded 16 tackles and had three sacks as a defensive lineman.  In 1197, Edmonton converted Sellers into a FB.  He still had 10 defensive tackles and one QB sack, but also had 40 carries for 133 yards and 5 pass receptions.  After 1998, Sellers was a free agent and signed with the Washington Redskins of the NFL.  He returned to the CFL in 2002 with Winnipeg and became part of a devestating backfield along with Charles Roberts.  You couldn't find much more of an "odd couple" as the diminutive and elusive Roberts paired with the 6'3, 280 pound bruising Sellers at FB. In 2002, Sellers carried the ball 77 times for 377 yards and had 63 catches for 643 yards.  Not bad for a former defensive lineman!  In 2003, Sellers put up similar numbers, though he missed four games with injuries.  He actually upped his rushing total to 86 carries for 427 yards and added 48 catches for 481 yards.  Not many puny defensive backs stood much of a chance of stopping Sellers when he got up a full head of steam.  After 2003, Sellers resigned with the Washington Redskins.
