Rogers had a fairly short seven year career in the CFL, but he was a divisional All-Star for five of those years and had three All Canadian selctions in consecutive yeras from 1995 to 1997 with Edmonton. Rogers signed with Edmonton in June of 1993 and spent five seasons with the Esks, before takng free agency in February of 1998 and signing with BC. After one season as a Western All-Star with BC in 1998, Rogers was traded in April of 1999 to Montreal along with Troy Alexander for future considerations. Rogers was released by Montreal before the start of the 1999 season on June 26, 1999 and completed the season and his outstanding career with Saskatchewan when he signed with them on August 4, 1999.
