Charlie Proudfoot was born in Winnipeg, MB and attended the University of Manitoba. Proudfoot played one season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1933 playing both offensive and defensive tackle. Charlie Proudfoot was the father of Tony Proudfoot, who also played in the CFL with Montreal and BC in the 1970s and 80s. Charlie Proudfoot passed away on March 18, 1993.
