John Prassas was an import linebacker from Brown University and played two seasons in the CFL. Prassas played for the Calgary Stampeders in 1981, recording three fumble recoveries and more the Montreal Concordes in 1982 where he had two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a quarterback sack.
