Terry Peters played college football at Oklahoma and was named the defensive player of the game in the 1976 Fiesta Bowl when the Sooners crushed Wyoming 41-7. Peters joined the Montreal Alouettes partway through the 1978 season when an injury struck all-start cornerback Dickie Harris. Peters lasted three games with Montreal before being dismantled in a game by Edmonton QB Tom Wilkinson and receiver Brian Kelly for three touchdowns.
