A native of Montreal, Pedicelli played junior football with the Verdun Sham Cats and then joined the Alouettes for one season in 1954. Pedicelli dressed for three games as a tackle. Pedicelli resigned with Montreal in 1955, but failed to make the team. Pedicelli continued to play football though with the Lakeshore intermediate team in the QRFU. Besides playing tackle, Pedicelli also did place kicking for Lakeshore. After leaving football as a player, Pedicelli was involved in the Montreal Alouettes alumni for a number of years.
Joe Pedicelli passed away on February 21, 1999.
