Park was a territorial exemption of Ottawa in 1981. Park played 1981 and 1982 n Ottawa and started the season with the Rough Riders before being traded to Saskatchewan in October, 1983 for punter Ken Clark. Park was traded back back to Ottawa in August of 1984 for receiver Mike Collymore. Park was traded by Ottawa to Toronto in June of 1984 along with future considerations for offensive lineman Mike Hamaluk, but did not play any games for Toronto.
