Jesse Palmer

Jesse Palmer was the second Canadian to have started at Quarterback in the NFL (Mark Rypien was the first with Washington).  After playing college ball with Florida, Palmer was drafted by the New York Giants and saw action in two seasons (2002-03) where he was a backup at the pivot spot.  Palmer was finally released by the Giants in September, 2005.  While with the Giants Palmer became famous for his appearance in the reality television series called The Bachelor (2004).  After leaving the Giants, Palmer signed with the Montreal Alouettes and was with them in 2006, but did not dress for any games.  Palmer retired from football in May, 2007.
