Bert Oja was a Guard, or Inside in the terminology of the day, who played at the Universityh of Minnesota. Oja joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1935 and played three seasons for the Bombers (1935-37). As a member of hte 1935 team, Oja was on the first Western team to win the Grey Cup.
