Mark Nohra

Mark Nohra was a fourth round draft pick of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 1997 CFL College Draft, but he first went south to try out with the Buffalo Bills in 1998.  After his release following training camp in 1998, Nohra signed as a free agent with the B.C. Lions.  Nohra didn't see any touches on offense in his rookie season, but had 45 carries and 256 yards rushing in his second season with BC in 1999.  Nohra signed as a free agent with Edmonton in 2000 and had a very good year with 760 yard rushing.  2001 was a similar season for Nohra as he rushed for 666 yards.  In 2002, Nohra signed as a gree agent with the newly formed Ottawa Renegades but was released after the season.  Nohra returned to BC where he started his career and played for the Lions in 2003 and 2004.
