After playing college ball at USC, Zeke (and destroy) Moreno was a fifth round draft pick of the San Diego Chargers of the NFL. in 2001. Moreno played four seasons for the Chargers before being released after the 2004 season. Moreno played for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2005.
joined the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as a middle linebacker in 2007. Moreno had a sensational rookie season with 114 defensive tackles to win both East and CFL All-Star honours. Moreno was one of the few highlights of a bad Hamilton team in 2007 and surprisingly enough was traded halfway through the 2008 season to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers who needed a middle linebacker badly after Barrin Simpson was injured. Despite splitting the season between two teams, Moreon won his second East and CFL All-Stars in 2008. . For sthe second time after an all-star season, Moreno was traded in the off season. This time, Moreno was dispatched to the Argos for defensive end Riall Johnson and a sixth rounddraft pick. In 2009, Moreno had 95 defensive tackles for a por Toronto team and was released afte the season as part of the house cleaning.
