Mak Moore was a sixth round draft pick of the Miami Dolphins of the NFL in 1981, but instead signed with the BC Lions. Moore became one of the top defensive tackles in the CFL, recording 39 sacks over four seasons from 1981 to 1984, with a career high of 15 in 1983. Moore was named to both the West and CFL All-Star teams in 1983 and 1984, then left the CFL to sign with Miami. After a stint with Miami and then San Diego in the CFL, Moore returned to BC and the CFL in 1988 and played two seasons, adding another 17 sacks to boost his career total to 56.
