After playing his college ball at Eastern Michigan, Ken Miller was drafted in the seventh round (191st overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1981 NFL draft. Miller was released by the Cowboys in August, 1981 and signed in September with the Montreal Alouettes. Miller played three games that year and returned the following season to play 12 games for the renamed Concordes and recorded a pair of fumble recoveries. Miller became a free agent after the 1982 season and was signed by the Ottawa Rough Riders in March of 1983. Miller played two years in Ottawa, recording two interceptions in 1983 and a career high four picks in 1984. That was good enough to earn Miller another shot in the NFL and he signed with the Chicogo Bears in May, 1985. Miller was released by the Bears and returned to the CFL, signing with the Calgary Stampeders in August of 1985. Miller finished his CFL career in Calgary in 1986.
