Nautyn McKay-Loescher was asecond round draft pick of tghe BC Lions out of Alabama in the 2004 CFL College Draft. BC had originally acquired the pick from Toronto as part of the trade that sent Damon Allen to the Argos. McKay-Loescher signed with the Lions in October of 2004, and while he didn't dress for any regular season games, dressed for the 2004 Grey Cup. With Brent Johnson established at defensive end, McKay-Loescher spent two seasons (2005-06) as a backup, but still picked up 8 sacks over those two seasons. Looking to play regularly, McKayh-Loescher signed as a free agent with Hamilton for 2007 and had his best season with 11 quarterback sacks. McKay-Loescher didn't see as much action or success in 2008, recording only 2 sacks. McKay-Loescher returned to the BC Lions as a free agent for his final season in 2009. McKay-Loescher finished with a total of 25 quarterback sacks. McKay-Loescher also had three fumble recoveries in his carfeer, including one he returned 69 yards for atouchdown in 2005.
