Ken McEachern

Ken McEachern was one of the top defensive backs of his time, playing eleven years in the CFL from 1974 to 1984.  McEachern played all but one year with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, though ironically he won his only Grey Cup ring in the one year he was not with the Riders.  McEachern won his Grey Cup with the Toronto Argonauts in 1983.  McEachern won four division All-Stars, three in the West with Saskatchewan in 1976, 1980 and 1981 and one with Toronto in the East in 1983.  McEachern also won a CFL All-Star in 1980. McEachern recorded 43 career interceptions with his best season coming in 1980 when his 10 picks tied for the West division lead.  McEachern had a knack also for taking interceptions back for touchdowns, returning four of them in his career and adding another touchdown on a fumble recovery.
