Ed King was an offensive tackle from Auburn University where he was an All-American in his sophomore season in 1989 and again in 1990. King passed up his final season at Auburn and was a second round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns in 1991. King would play six seasons in the NFL, three with Cleveland (1991-93) and three with New Orleans (1995-97). King played parts of two seasons in the CFL, with Saskatchewan in 1998 and Montreal in 1999. After retiring from football in 2001, King started a career in sales, but moved into teaching and coaching.
