From the University of Arizona, Jennings spent two seasons with the Alouettes (2008-09), but dressed for only the one game in 2008 with no carries. At the time, Jennings was the number three man on the depth chart at running back behind starter Avon Cobourne and backup Brandon Whitaker. From there, Jennings' career took a surprise twist. - from third string in the CFL to starrting in the NFL The Cleveland Browns of the NFL had injuury problems at running back and Alouette GM Jim Popp had connections with the Browns. The next thing you know, Jennings was starting at running back in the NFL . It was a short stint, but more than many players ever get. After the Browns, Jennings played in 2010 with the Hartford Colonials of the UFL. In 2011, Jennings got another shot in the NFL with the New York Jets in pre-season, but was released.
Jennings returned to the Alouettes in 2012. Avon Cobourne was now playing in Hamilton and both now starter Brandon Whitaker and backup Victor Anderson were injured.
