Walter Jenkins was a lineman out of Wayne State and born in Detroit.  Jennings was drafted in the ninth round of the 1955 NFL college draft by the Detroit Lions.   Jenkins played t wo games for theHamilton Tiger-Cats in 1956, and then played in the ORfU for two seasons.  Jenkins playedwith the Sarnia Golden Bears in 1957 and with the Detroit / Port Huron team in 1958. Jenkins is amember of the Wayne State Sports Hall of Fame.
