Enis Jackson

Jackson was signed by the Cleveland Browns of the NFL as a free agent in 1986.  Jackson spent the season ion the injured list and then was released after the 1987 training camp.  Jackson went to training camp with San Diego in 1988, but was also released by the Chargers.  Jackson signed with Edmonton in February, 1989.  He played four seasons with the Esks, picking off 15 passes, including 6 in his rookie season.  Jackson was both a West and CFL All-Star in that rookie year (1989) and he won two more West All-Stars in 1991 and 1992.  In January, 1993, Jackson was traded to Toronto in a huge deal.  Jackson went to Toronto alsong with QB Tracy Hamm, RB Chris Johnstone, RB Craig Ellis, WR Ken Winey and DB Travis Oliver.  Edmonton got DB Ed Berry, QB Rickey Foggie, WR Eddie Brown, LB Bruce Dickson, SB J.P. Izquerdo, dB Don Wilson, SB Darrell K. Smith and DL Leonard Johnson.  Jackson only played 5 games for the Argos in 1994, and was then traded to the new Baltimore Stallions club for linebacker Brad Clark and dE Swift Burch.  Released before the season started by Baltimore, Jackson signed with the BC Lions and bounced back with 4 interceptions that year and another 6, to tie his career high, in 1995.
