After playing junior football for the Oshawa Hawkeys, Warren Hudson was signed as a free agent by the Toronto Argonauts in July of 1985. Hudson would play five seasons for the Argos, establishing himself as a solid Canadian fullback. His bes year with the Argos was 1988 when he ran for 497 yards and caught 31 passes for another 283 yards. In July of 1990, Hudson was traded to Winnipeg for defensive back Andrew Thomas and a fifth round draft pick. Hudson would have his best seasons with the Bombers, especially becoming a force as a receiver out of the backfield where he caught a career high 54 passes in 1990 and another 47 in 1991.. In 1992, Hudson set career marks as a rusher with 60 carries for 397 yards. The dependable Hudson average 5.31 yards a carfry in his career and 9.6 yards per catch. Warren Hudson passed away on February 16, 2012.
