Dick Gregory was a 22nd round draft pick out of the University of Minnesota by the Chicago Bears in 1952. Gregory played seven games as a halfback for the Saskatchwan Roughriders in 1953 and would later play in the ORFU with Toronto Balmy Beach and Sarnia.
