Archie Gray was a tenth round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL in 1975. Gray was released by the Steelers in 1975 and had a tryout with the Detroit Lions in 1976, but was also released. In 1977, Gray played 5 games for the Montreal Alouettes at wide receiver and returning kickoffs.
