Donohue Grant was mainly a special teams player and backup defensive back for Toronto, Winnipeg and Hamilton from 1986 to 1989. Grant was a second round pick (tenth overall) in the 1986 CFL college draft and joined the ARgos for the 1986 season. Grant was then selected by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in an equalization draft in February of 1987, but released before the season started. Winnipeg signed Grant in October of 1987 and he completed the 1987 season with the Bombers. Grant was released by Winnipeg in November, 1987 and signed by Hamilton where he played in 1988 and 1989.
