Jerry Gordon's CFL history is longer than his playng career as he belonged to four different teams and played a total of two games. Gordon signed originally with Calgary in November, 1982, but was released without playing any games for the Stampeders. Gordon reappeared in the CFL in May of 1987 when he signed with the Montreal Alouettes, just in time for the Als to fold. Saskatchewan selected Gordon in the dispersal draft, but released him in July, 1987 without him having played a regular season game. Calgary signed Gordon in October, 1987 and he played two games with the Stampeders before being released. Edmonton was the next team to sign Gordon in 1988, but again he was released prior to the start of the season. Edmonton then resigned Gordon for the 1989 season, but once more he was released witout playing a game for Edmonton.
