Charles Gordon's CFL career spanned seven years and four teams from 1991 to 1997. Gordon initially signed with the Toronto Argonauts in 1991, but was released before playing any regualr season games. Ottawa picked up Gordon and he played three seasons with the Rough Riders (1991-93), collecting 11 intercetions, including 7 in 1992. Ottawa released Gordon after the 1993 season and he signed as a free agent with BC for 1994 and played two seasons on the coast. Gordon won both West and CFL All-Stars for his 8 interceception season in 1994. Released by BC after the 1995 season, Gordon signed with Montreal in their first year back in the league in 1996, recording 7 interceptions and winning both East and CFL All-Stars. Gordon finished his CFL career in 1997 with Montreal. Gordon finished with 35 career interceptions, running six of them back for touchdowns and adding another touchdown on a 48 yard fumble return while with Montreal in 1996.
