Jim Germany played seven years with the Edmonton Eskimos from 1977 to 1983 which put him as part of the Edmonton dynasty that won five consecutive Grey Cups from 1978 though 1982. Germany provided most of the running game for Edmonton and that made thei rpassing game that much more effective. Germany recorded three one thousand plus seasons rushing in 1977, 1979 and 1980. Germany won a West All-Star spot in 1979 which was his best season rushing with 1324 yards and an All-Canadian selection in 1981, one of his non 1000 yard seasons. What made 1981 special wat the 18 rushing toudhdowns and one TD passing to go with his 861 yards rushng and 31 pass receptions. Germany finished his career with 5740 yards rushing.
