Gamble was signed as a free agent by the Sacremento Goldminers in September of 1994 and dressedin 6 games as a backup receiver. Gamble moved to San Antono with the franchise in 1995 and saw more regular action with 17 catches in 12 games. Gamble became a free agent after the 1995 seanson and was out of the CFL until Winnipeg signed him in August of 1998.
