From Northeast Louisiana*, Ken Frith played three seasons for the Saskatchwan Roughriders from 1969 to 1971. Frith won a West All-Star at defensive end in 1970. that year, Frith led the West in fumble recoveries with 5.Frith suffered a neck injury in 1971 that ended his season. Frith had left school early and was not eligible for the NFL draft until 1971 when he was selected in the sixth round by the Baltimore Colts. In 1972, Frith went to training camp with the Colts.
