John Rorzani played his college football at Utah Stateand was one of three brothers who played for the Calgary Stampeders in the 1970s. John's rother Joe was a linebacker and his brother Tommy was a wide receiver while John played on the offensive line, mainly at guard. Forzani played six seasons for the Stamps from 1971 to 1976 and won a Grey Cup over Toronto in his rookie season in 1971 - the year of the Leon McQuay fumble. In his six seasons with the Stamps, John Forzani dressed for all 84 regular season games. Following his playing career, John Forzani had avery successful career in business. Forzani first opened his own sporting goods store and in 1994 purchased the largest sporting goods retailer n Canada. In 2005, Forzani became a part owner of the Stampeders.
