Folk was originally drafterd by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the fifth round of the 2004 college draft, but released before playing any gams for the Bombers. Signed by Montreal in June of 2004, Folk spent 2004 with Montreal and started the 05 season with them before being traded to Winnipeg. Folk was traded back to Montreal for the 2006 season.
