Otis Floyd played college football at Louisville adnd signed first in the CFL with Calgary in May of 2000. Floyd was released by Calgary on July 1, 2000 and signed by Edmonton. Floys played seven games for the Eskimos before being released in September. Calgary resigned Floyd for the 2001 season, and played all 18 games for the Stampeders that season. Floyd became a free agent and signed with the Washington Resksins of the NFL for 2002, but was released and returned to finish the season with Calgary. After playing one more season with Calgary in 2003, Floyd became a free agent again and signed with BC. Floyd's best seasons would be with the Lions where he played five seasons from 2004 to 2008. Floyd won three West All-stgars in that time (2005, 2006 and 2007) and one CFL All-Star in 2006. Floyd left BC as a free agent for the 2009 season and joined the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for two seasons. With Hamilton, Floyd set a new career high with 83 tackles in 2010.
